I guess my point is I've seen nothing to indicate that Gal Gadot has any serious acting talent, which is what worries me the most.

CAN SHE ACT?

I agree, but you have to have a big battle scenes in these movies, you can't have the team just all battling one thing.

I actually thought the SR4 Power Armor looked really boring. Would it have killed them to put some color in it?

Just once, I would love to read "DUBAI IS BUILDING TEN WORLD CLASS UNIVERSITIES FREE TO ALL ITS CITIZENS."

Meh, I give her and the show credit for getting their act together as it went on. I've watched enough TV to know that it takes a season or so for most shows to even get a handle on their story and characters.

She got better.

Drone. Drone Better.

Why are rookie QB's ever in these discussions? Most of them have no idea what they are doing, and when they do have success (RGIII) it's usually some combination of dumb luck and a better than average supporting cast. Sam Bradford gets to stumble around for years, Matt Stafford can't ride Megatron to the playoffs, but

8. Get black guys to play it. Soccer will never take off in America if our best Athletes don't play it.

If this is way to clear up space for Capt/Ms Marvel to step into the role as the Avenger's heavy hitter, I'm all for it.

I read the third book and thought that was the point. That is what war does to a young person. It wrecks you. Katniss was a tool, she wasn't a hero, she wasn't meant to be a hero, she didn't want to be a hero. Because there are no heroes. Wars and conflicts use people like Katniss until they are empty quivering shells

Yes Tyrion also her mentioned her during the conversation with Tywin in which he was ordered to marry Sansa. Tywin did remember her.

To be honest, Captain Nemo was already a pretty dark gritty character wasn't he?

But only two teams (Miami, Dallas) won their 1st title in that span.

The Lakers and/or the Celtics played in EVERY NBA Final from 1980-1989. They won eight of the 10 titles. Yes they only played each other three times, but they still dominated the decade.

I always pictured Gotham as New York and Metropolis as Chicago (making it relatively close-ish to Smallville KS)

It was combination of name/Brand recognition and e actors involved. "Pacific Rim" could be any number of things, the title doesn't tell you much. Godzilla on the other hand? That tells people exactly what they are in for. Plus while neither film had any A-list movie stars in it, Bryan Cranston is a bigger star than

Marvel is playing with house money at this point. DC can't sell a Superman sequel unless they stick Batman and Wonder Woman in it, but Marvel can sell a movie based on a (relatively) unknown comic team and get a A-list Oscar caliber actor to voice a Raccoon.

Is it odd they are filming so early? The movie is set for release May 2016 and they are already shooting. Are they expecting a really long production? Are they going to finish this in a year then keep it in the can for a another year?
