This is entirely different from what he said his idea for the sequels would have been when asked about it a few years ago. Personal theory: Lucas had no ideas.

They had the tiniest bit of that in the Canto Bight scene, and it could have been so much cooler if that was where we saw Lando. Putzing with the rich folks as the Resistance’s inside man. But no, the Canto Bight parts were kinda boring. I loved the rest of TLJ to be honest. And TROS just ignored god damned everything…
The biggest problem with the sequel trilogy is that the First Order are boring villians. They’re just Empire 2.0. They have the same ships, the same uniforms, the same British accents. There is nothing new about them at all. And that fed into another big problem with the ST: they were really boring movies to look at.
I’ve said this elsewhere, but while George will always be my biggest hero, I don’t believe a word he says regarding “what he had planned” for any of the Star Wars movies. Depending on which interview you read he’s claimed Star Wars was always planned as 9 episodes, or 6, or maybe it was just the original three.
It was all so very perfect. 90's Rare had this vibe going that I wish I could find in something modern....I miss it.
I swear Donkey Kong Country’s music is why I have such an obsession and love for groovy ambient music now.
Really all that needs to be said.
DKC2’s OST was my favorite game soundtrack growing up. Game was brutal for 9-year old me but it was prob the first piece of entertainment that made me appreciate music as a medium.
I have nothing to add, other than I wholeheartedly agree. DKC2's OST is nothing short of amazing. The songs are catchy, memorable & fit the levels they were attached to. I played a ton of videogames as a kid during the mid 90s - I still get chills listening DKC2 & MGS1 music.
Trump campaign’s communications director Tim Murtaugh...
It’s going to involve Kirby burning the candle from both ends for years on end, but stuck doing the only thing he knows how to do, and maybe the only thing he’s ever loved. The end of the game has him getting into the ring against King Dedede, against his doctor’s recommendations.
We end on him performing a ‘final…
They also, even more indirectly, announced Kirby Fighters 1 to me in particular.
Always has been.
NOOO
We just shouldn’t bother watching any new Netflix series that isn’t designed to be a single season, cause it’ll always always always be cancelled before finishing.
I suppose a show depicting a morally bankrupt ruling class blithely ignoring an ecological disaster brought by their own hands was considered too unrealistic for the audience after all.
Well this suck. Show was awesome. The detail and artistry was off the charts.
Not a huge surprise considering how expensive it must have been and they probably even couldn’t film for several months anyway.
Wait I thought it was one of its top ten shows for a while? Thats so weird, and they’re making a Bright 2?!? What the what?
