Sophie is fantastic I just don't find her and Kelley to be that similar other than being female and both are probably Survivor winners.

The winner is going to be Kelley. I don't know how she slots but I don't think she's a Sophie.

This was a blow to anyone who likes Survivor and enjoys being entertained. I for one look forward to welcoming Varner back for his third chance in the future. He gave us about the maximum amount you could ask for someone going out forth. The only reason I'm not super depressed about this is it's a returning player

Nah. I don't care that much now I certainly won't care 8 episodes from now, and I see no way to stretch that story that long that I would care.

I know. But the main reason they can pull off an early swap like this where they add a tribe is because we know the players. Other wise many people wouldn't have a clue what was going on.

Winner's edit even.

A lot of future players will be reading "How to Win Friends & Influence People" if that's the case.

You're at least streets on par now.

I think the main reason they can pull of this early shuffle from 2 tribes of 20 to 3 tribes of 18 is because it's returning players. So we are already invested in some if not all the players and it's much easier to keep them strait when we know them. I think if it was an all newbie season this would seem like real

In one of his seasons Malcolm had an idol buried during a tribe swap and production gave it back to him when he went to a confessional.

Thank you for the hockey reference. First night of the season too!

Brian and Clay

Two crossfit winners in a row so far too. #winnersedit

I'm pretty sure the other side already had the votes to get out Shirin even before the Abi thing, but after that they were able to get the numbers to split the vote. Still a big screw up though no doubt.

Maybe he is like coming into contact with his emotions for the first time and he's just handling them awkwardly so it comes off kind of fake?

She didn't last time so I wouldn't be certain of that. Though maybe she learned.

Or editing help shield her from the negativity surrounding Shirin and Spencer because she goes very far/to the end/wins. I don't think that's all there was too it, but I wouldn't be shocked if that wasn't part of it. It's also possible she was shown as being much more a part of that last episode than she actually

Who's Mary?

He barely made it through 6 days in All-Stars and that was a long time ago.

I know he's not exactly a challenge beast, but did it look to anyone else like Varner was intentionally dogging it in the challenge? I didn't really get the impression that he would be that upset about going to tribal, but on the other hand maybe he's just really that badly out of shape.
