Because Shirin is going to be a huge factor moving forward. The move she made was making in roads with Mike. She voted with him and showed him they can work together. Shaking things up would have been voting out Jenn which keeps Joe as a bigger target for what one round? Maybe? And shows Mike he can't trust/work

"Could this season be any worse or boring?"

Oh yeah it was horrible. But it was so funny. I remember the first time I saw Rupert putting the rock in his pocket and thinking "this is stupid no one will believe this but I guess it's better than doing nothing." Then minuets (if that) later Russell talking about how he saw Rupert's pocket and knew he had an

HAHA it's worth it just to find out there was a fan of it.

The only fake idol in HvV was the rock in Rupert's pocket which Russell believed. Are you thinking of Ozzy's fake HII in FvF?

My 3 year old daughter started yelling SNICKERS! So I guess product placement successful to a degree. Still not giving her candy even if it's on Survivor.

He screwed himself with bad game play. Also, that was a great twist. Even if you don't like it I find it hard to believe that someone would have it lower than "Haves and Have nots", Redemption Island, or The Medallion of Power.

It's from the first individual challenge. But if you think that's gross you should re-watch Guatemala some really funky skin stuff going on in that season.

She already talked to Mike though if she doesn't go with him this vote then she doesn't look trust worthy at all which is terrible long term. If she shows willingness to play ball now Mike is more likely to want her over Jenn at least. Plus, Mike acknowledged there could be a group in his alliance against him so

I am starting to think the theme of the season is literally look how stupid Dan is. There seems to be at least two Dan f'ed up or is dumb scenes per episode.

And even then other than Erik they still voted as planned so it really didn't change anything.

Go look at the Survivor FB page. He's coming back.

Are you not on twitter/don't know about the rumors of the up coming returnee season? Add to that from what I've seen on the Survivor facebook page Joe is by far the favorite of the season so far among the larger fan base.

I think a two new stories started this week (though they are intertwined). They just wasn't a major focus of things. Shirin allying with Mike. Also, Mike acknowledging decent among his ranks which up until now it's all been one sided of Rodney plotting against Mike. With Mike only tacitly mentioning once Joe's

I don't have any thing against Mike, but he's looked like the winner to me since half way through the first episode so I really hope this is a long con. Because it will be a disappointment if it just plays out relatively obviously.

It was nice the Tyler won immunity so that he got screen time and we knew he still existed. Did you know that there are people named Sierra and Carolyn still playing too? I was also shocked to find that out.

To clarify Boston Rod isn't that good of a player (though better than expected). But Rob was not really a good player his first two maybe three seasons. He was an entertaining disaster his first season just ruining his tribe and intentionally alienating himself after the tribe swap. Rob was great his second season

I would not rank any of these seasons as high as you did. But as usual I agree with a lot of what you say. Especially Cook Islands. On paper I love the underdog story of Cook Islands, but wow. One of the most boring casts of all time which is really confusing considering the number of returning players it

It looks like that on paper, but I don't think that's how it will play out largely based on things Probst has said about the season being great and things that Shirin will do that haven't happened yet.
