Excellent, I can see a montage right now. And the day is saved by the Army Lt. he played in Best Defense and the character he played from Harlem Nights as an old man

A veritable League of Extraordinary Eddies, throw in Eddie Vampire from a Vampire in Brooklyn and they have a super villain as well. (the real Eddie they fight should be the red leather Eddie from Delirious comedy special.)

Shouldn’t Domino hold her two fingers up behind Deadpool’s head like bunny ears?

Eddie in anime would be great but for 80's cheese value I would substitute The Golden Child (cheesy movie but there are some scene that I think would benefit from being drawn in anime) or 48 Hrs for a noir-ish look.

You will not regret it, it is good tv.

Cue Rockapella:

HBO discovered the sweet spot, and the ATT people will destroy it. The throw everything at the wall approach locks you into having to continually find new stuff to throw (which in the case of Netflix seems to be an ever increasing amount of shows from overseas), and the quality then immediately tanks and you quickly

I was going to suggest the Last Star Fighter and Goonies.

He is doing really good things with that, but in some ways it proves my point. The network gave McFarland the chance because the studio hoped to get something like Family Guy (plus keeping him happy keeps Family Guy going too) and to poach Star Trek fandom with what is arguably a love letter to ST TNG. It was a risk,

This is compounded by the fact that these talented people are hamstrung by studios that are risk adverse. Star Wars was a bet, and Fox and Lucas broke the bank.  40 years later, a talented creative filmmaker is not going to get a chance to make something new, for a new fandom.

Knowing Gathers, it is entirely possible that 21 is extremely deep undercover keeping an eye on the Monarch, especially now that he has a hold of the Blue Morpho stuff

well that’s special

Well said.

I loved it when he told 21 that he was one of the good guys

Never forget

I can’t be the only one who would want to see an episode by Doc that goes down that rabbit hole of obscure 19th painters.

Shoreleave in Operation P.R.O.M. was outstanding, “...now scoot!”

The Trial of the Monarch is such a great episode.

That is a good idea, because the problem with a prequel is that you know he lived, he survived.  Using it as a set up or a framing device allows the audience to think that there are some stakes on the table.

That was outstanding
