Your reviews have been pointing out the musical choices and I think the person in charge of that does a great job, and it is nice to be able to have Apple $ so when there is the perfect song for a scene it can be used. It probably did not cost a ton as opposed to the others, but the use of Sir Mix-a-lot’s “My Posse’s

I think Tom Ellis could be a good choice

Cree Summer is a treasure.

I am a proponent of dill, but try all of them. A good way to test is some peanut butter on a saltine cracker with a slice of pickle on top. That way you do not have to be invested in a whole sandwich. (I on occasion will make a snack plate of these, and like Claire said a classic hamburger chip works well on this)

I think I was seven and got stuck on a dare, and it was take a bite of a peanut butter and pickle sandwich. I took the bite, finished the sandwich, and asked for another. Nearly fifty years later I still eat them. Dill pickles are best, thought I will use kosher if it is all I have, but I am not a fan of sweet

They are experts in this

I do not have any confidence in him as well, but the one positive is that he is making something not from an existing IP (yes it rips on various ones but not officially). I wish more of filmmakers would take a risk on something new. However, do I think it is going to be crap, yes, yes I do.

Corman is fantastic, and his 60's horror films were a staple in my young life. (Insomnia when I was young and they would often show up on the creature feature late late late show) They may have been knockoffs, but they also had a sort of style to them as well, you could always tell a Corman knock off compared to any

I think the film this should be compared to is Roger Corman’s version of the Seven Samurai, Battle Beyond the Stars starring John-Boy Walton, Col Hannibal Smith, and Napoleon Solo amount others.

Hearing this, I half expect the Foos to have played the Motorhead set list

I look at Steppenwolf, but all I see is the alien from Star Trek Beyond, the ones at the start that attack Kirk when he tries to give them the macguffin.

The Kirk Funko needs to be a ‘ripped’ shirt version to go with the Gorn.

All it’s really missing is Dan Cortez.

It would be really cool to have this bee an anthology based on really great modules, or have a rotating cast of adventurers that we watch getting better and better

Thanks for letting me know about this, I cycle in and out of D&D and as such I miss cool stuff.  That is going to be a great afternoon or several going through those.

Take your star. I so wish I could come up with a retort, but it is very clear, as I am writing here, that I really do not have too much to say.

Character actors are the best.  I totally forgot about CoB.

I find it interesting that you compared him to the Anubis in the diner, both actors, George Dzundza and Paul Guilfoyle are known for playing cops on police procedurals—Law and Order and CSI.  I have been known to get them confused from time to time.

Speed Racer is flat out gorgeous (and a great movie, with some very interesting cinematic choices) and Warner Bros. needs to put that out on 4K UHD blu-ray.

No apple crisp, I am disappointed
