I would suggest the issue is that if she was a white man or woman, the congressman would not have had this response. My “midwesterner senses” are tingling.

I guess I should say something about how terrible this is.

Yes, because when the next race riot/war hits America, it won’t be because ~70% of the population gleefully and constantly abuses the remaining 30% percent. It’ll be because that 30% said something other than “yes sir, thank you sir” while being abused.

If they had clarified “discrimination” , the number of reports... Would probably be about the same, because a persecution complex is a high like none other, but it *should* get smaller.
