1. They’re asking for donations, not payment. They are not exchanging goods for services. The download is public - no money need ever exchange hands. So it’s quite a bit different than promoting a company’s services, as they are not selling anything.

I definitely disagree with you on how to handle the word “nigger” in books/school. That’s mostly because, in my view, “the n-word” is nothing but a gift to white people to allow them to talk about things their friends and relatives say, without really getting the full effect.
This is terrible, but kudos to that one white student for apparently being the only Caucasian in his school district who knows that the civil war and confederacy was about slavery.
