Ok, after looking at the carton yesterday it says on there that they don’t add artificial softeners. I don’t know what brands specifically uses them. So nobody misspoke. I guess if I really need ice cream and I can’t make it myself, I’ll try Haagen Dazs or Dreyers and if I get really sick afterwards, I’ll know it’s

Yep. Don’t why I over complicated it. I do that sometimes.

I’ve had 20 people tell me there’s no gluten in ice cream today. People who don’t know. I didn’t know I was going to have to educate people today about celiac disease. In 20 separate comments. I’m tired. I make my own ice cream too, I know there’s no flour in ice cream. If you’re a chef, please read up on celiac

I’m just whinging. Amazon.com is great for finding odd ball stuff. I just looked and they have a dozen kinds at least. They are now in my cart. Chicken piccata will be made!

Please see the 20 other comments I’ve made today about cross contamination. Until you actually have celiac disease, you’re just a pastry chef.

Here’s the beautiful thing about finding out that I have celiac disease, I have since I was a child intensely disliked things made with wheat flour. 98% of things anyway, so it has not been that hard for me. It’s just finding those things where they sneak gluten in that’s a problem. And gnocchi. I like that. And

Apparently I misspoke, I listened to my husband (big mistake, won’t happen again) he said the reason it has a funky texture was they don’t put some ingredient in that most ice creams have. I probably wasn’t listening to him. I feel like I’ve repeated this a few times today. Also, again, gluten can be a common in ice

We’d like to sell our 2,650 sq. foot home and get something smaller. Maybe a thousand sq. feet. We don’t have kids at home though. We bought it 4 years ago and it seemed like a good idea at the time, now it’s too much yard (half an acre) and too much to clean. So not quite a tiny home.

I’m trying. I’m usually so good. Grrr.. mad at myself.

Wow! Thanks, I just googled it. That looks pretty cool. We cook at home most of the time and I can make sure I don’t eat it. But sometimes you want to go out and you don’t know what you’re getting. That’s really great. Thanks again!

I live on the west coast and I’ve never seen it before so I think you’re right. But thanks for the recommendation!

So google says. I think I’m gonna avoid that. Got enough intestinal distress at the moment.

You’re right. I always get those two mixed up!

That is the best. You made me chuckle out loud. Thank you for that. Also, ex-lax brownies.

Please let me know how it turns out!

I googled it. With the new diagnosis of celiac disease I’m trying to stay away from things with the possible side effect of diarrhea, bloating and stomach ache. Thanks though, I mean that sincerely.

Yeah, I at least know what goes in mine when I make it. The grocery store keeps giving us coupons for free cartons of halo. I think I have three of them now. I don’t think I’ll be using them.

I really wish there was. Or there might be and I don’t know about it. I think the one without eggs was as good as the custard one. I don’t care what Alton Brown says. Here goes:
