Come on guys- this means that Giant Bomb is a success. You don't buy ailing niche media outlets. You buy successful upstarts. This is hopefully going to be good news for them going forward from a volume and quality of content standpoint.

"I'm just getting a kick out of your replies at this point. They're good for a chuckle. "
Now you are assuming I'm upset? And the comedy doesn't stop! Thanks for continuing to validate my responses with more and more self serving presumptions. Keep it going! Eventually it'll make you look superior by comparison... it has to.
Now we're taking our assumptions as facts. Well played.
Man that takes me back. FF6 was my first SNES game, which as you probably recall, had a much better sound chip than the Genesis did. I was in heaven. My first ever game soundtrack purchase.
Never said it was. See- now you're being really presumptuous!
You can be sarcastic and presumptuous at the same time. They are not mutually exclusive concepts.
It's nice to assume things about people based on two sentences they write on the internet.
True. I was initially under the impression that this was a 'boss' style character. It's just an enemy variant. I just already know I want to buy this game. Trying to stay on a media blackout and as much as possible and it looks like unless I'm willing to abandon the internet completely for the next seven months, I'm…
Literally?
Yeah, I thought it was a bit odd that in ME3, in the game menu, instead of having an equipment/inventory tab as in previous ME games, I had instead a button called 'manual' that appears to be little more than a controller layout. WTF?
I love it when blog headlines are also spoilers. Thanks.
It's the way to go. I am really enjoying what little I've played of ME3 so far. And it's for what Bioware does do well, and is so often overlooked when people complain about their games, myself included. The atmosphere and art direction of the ME universe is second to none and on a technical level, they've really…
I agree. I actually rethought my initial dismissal of this as a non issue. I'm just to cynical about people complaining on the internet. This whole thing really is worthy of the derision it's getting. I was just too reactionary in my initial comment.
100% agreed! The j-popification of RPG music is a big part of why I got turned off to the genre. Too bad, because some of the best game music ever made was for early jrpgs.
The idea that every game needs boss fights is about as dumb as saying every game needs a jump button.
I'm actually more disappointed that they made her look human at all, than that her likeness is based on stock footage from Getty.
So is it lazy of Naughty Dog to use their voice actors' likenesses in their character models as well?
I do understand how screen resolution and graphics cards work- but my point about consoles fudging their output resolution to a television for external upscaling stands. In consideration of the iPad, which as you stated, is a fixed output standard, an increased screen resolution is important because it's the standard-…
I thought the whole idea of the iPad was that you didn't need to plug it into anything to use it. We already have what you are describing, they're called: everything else that plays media and isn't your phone.
