I think it's more of a 'how is this news?' response from the Kotaku commenting elite.

Increased texture size parameters, as well as data cache capabilities in general (all tied to memory as I am assuming it to be implied here) and a higher screen resolutions absolutely do have a direct effect on the hardware's rendering capabilities.

Isn't this thing voxel based?

Soooo, not so much 'warfighting' then? Sure doesn't sound like it anyway. That said, it certainly seems much more interesting in premise than any other military shooter I can think of.

This makes me happy. I want Molyneux to be Molyneux again. He's not meant to be a suit, he's meant to be a creator, and Lionhead has become a victim of it's own success with Fable.

"Epic Games Says New iPad Will Have More Memory, Higher Resolution Than Xbox 360 And PS3"

It's also a comment troll masquerading as a blog headline, yet again.

That's all well and good, but are any of these gamers 'angry' enough to boycott the purchase of Mass Effect 3 entirely?

Doesn't the very premise of this article undermine itself from the outset?

I had the same experience with The Witcher 2. I was simply amazed my 1st gen bootcamp Mac Pro could run the thing. The best card I can stick in there is a 5770 and know it will work and the game managed to run on High with a few graphical options switched off and a resolution tweak... but I've seen the screens. I know

I'm right there with you. My tower is an aged but steady handed beast. Seeing as it's more than 5 years old it still runs remarkably well. Just not THAT well. Hard as it is to admit, it's time to build a new one.

To me you are describing is the video game market as it already exists.

Ok, you got me: I'm still a slut for Metroid when it's done right.

I think a few Nintendo first party published games were ported over, like Twilight Princess, but those decisions were made during the game's development cycle. The Last Story is a 3rd party made (Mistwalker and AO Interactive I think) game in Japan, published by Nintendo, that came out a year ago.

As consumers, we are entitled to nothing more than the right to purchase products on the open market. That said, I agree that this is crap and that $60 is already too much to pay for most games.

Why should you care about the Final Fantasy creator's new Wii RPG?

There isn't going to be any ports.

Sweating hands? That's a thing? Like, your hands sweat more than the rest of your body?

Know what else is smart? Soap.

It's more like Fable in that there are sections that are large and open, and often interconnected through loading areas, but instead of there being a world you are free to explore openly, it's segmented into several larger areas you explore sequentially, each of which is large and multifaceted. Which way you see these
