I don't remember the pieces of plastic themselves as being the core appeal.

If so that's about the grossest depth I can imagine Bioware stinking to with their game design.
That's great for her and all, but isn't it completely immersion breaking to have a character in a fictional game look exactly the same as their real world counterpart?
What's a CD?
Yeah. I'm not trying to knock Bioware too much, even if I am less enamored with what they've become as a result of their growth over the years.
It's readily apparent, but that's not what this mod is doing. It's changing the resolution of the textures being used on the assets, not changing the resolution of the game itself.
I thought the criticism was that the trope of an endangered child was emotionally manipulative, and horribly cliche. It's obvious. Manipulating people's emotions is what great storytellers do. That's their job.
"there can never be anything gay about Star Wars, ever."
So I looked into Sculptris, didn't even realize it was also a pixologic program. It basically looks like a stripped down version of zbrush, so you should be right at home once you get your hands on the program, coming from using sculptris.
People are the most important commodity there is. If you can't treat people with dignity and respect, you won't stay in business for long...
That would only be an issue if the read/write speed of whatever bluray drive MS uses is as old/slow as the PS3's. Seeing as that hardware is now 5 years old, I doubt it will be the same story on the next gen of consoles.
I do recall that. Though it is slightly different that the whole i-Reporter thing at CNN.
Interesting- we were told specifically to not use a sphere when using a poly sculpting program because it creates a bunch of unnecessary and awkward faces where all of the tris meet up on the end of the sphere. We start with a maya cube, import it into zbrush, and then begin dividing the geometry into several lod…
Money is not an issue for me with gaming and I am not burned out on videogames in general. Frankly I can afford to buy whatever I want whenever I want, but that doesn't mean I'll just buy anything or am one of those people who has to find reasons to like whatever they play.
The HP actually pays their writers, don't they?
Unless you are pirating the software for professional use, nobody gives a shit. Just don't try to sell your work made in illegal copies of programs and you're fine. You need to learn somehow.
"it retopoligizes the model as you go, adding in more polygons as you deform and adds detail as you get smaller brushes in there"
I'm pretty surprised to hear that, though I would guess that over time it becomes fairly easy to spot certain types of folks, and probably some repeat business from some unfortunate souls.
No, I'm a 33 year old who can't tolerate other people. ;-)
Good to see their crowd-sourced news initiative is working out. CNN will have run itself into the ground in a maximum of 5 years, I'd guess. This is what happens when you think you don't have to pay people to perform a task: you're stuck with whatever you get.
