So the WGA is essentially a private club handing out awards to it's own members while ignoring that the rest of the industry even exists. A public pat on the back to draw attention to the organization itself, not so much the best writers in the industry.

Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize this wasn't already plain to see:

Man, Japanese developers just can't help themselves with the overwrought HUD, can they?

You seem to know a hell of a lot more about your customers than you'd be able to glean from just working at a pawnbrokers...

I don't know if you've heard about it- but there's this thing going on out there called 'An Economic Recession'. The job market is tough, unemployment insurance doesn't pay a hell of a lot, and it's hard to make ends meet for some folks. So they sell their shit to keep the lights on and a roof over their heads.

I think you might be the one with the comprehension problem. I'm quoting you directly. Which I will do again:

Yeah- I laugh whenever I read about someone complaining about the mechanics or visuals of games today. 'Bad' and 'disappointing' are hugely relative terms, and if you didn't live through the 80's console era, you have no idea how good it is to be a gamer today.

That was... awful.

I think that's called "the disappointment of growing up as a gamer".

Thinking the same thing. Who's excited about having to pay more for the privilege of continuing to pay more for the device as long as you own it?

Is it terrible of me to suggest that I might actually be more interested in a 3G Vita were the price comparably subsidized by a data plan contract?

You mean like every single other author kotaku pays to write content for them?

What Toshiba fails to clarify is that they are projecting only 9 people will buy a $10,000 glasses-free 3DTV, not that their tech actually supports it on a single set...

You may be surprised to note that websites usually have unlimited 'space' with which to post articles. Time is typically the limitation which prevents websites from publishing unlimited content.

Tis a bit presumptuous of you, isn't it?

You know, you don't have to read Ashcraft's posts. Nobody is holding a gun to the head of your nerd credibility. Kotaku will still be here tomorrow if you only read the articles you are interested in reading.

I'd stop well short of calling it 'realistic'. Maybe 'visceral' is a better word? It's certainly entertaining, but realistic? Nooooot by a long shot.

I badly want to be excited for this but... yikes. Looks pretty rough for a game that is supposedly releasing around the start of the new season of the HBO series (which is in April).

Funny, I never realized that they were boys until now.
