@Mercsenary: Right, because when you get mugged at gunpoint, the smart thing to do is pull out your gun...

@Dralel: If the game supports it... recommended specs don't really establish a performance ceiling. The better your graphics card is, the better the graphics... to my knowledge there hasn't been any great breakthrough since DX11, so as long as they are benchmarking for it, you should be golden...

@DukeOfPwn: If only recycling got the attention of the lowest common denominator they way blowing shit up does.

Keep posting clips of people blowing up and/or shooting their videogame consoles with weapons and explosives, and I might start thinking that Kotaku endorses this sort of thing by proxy... perhaps even encourages it's readers to do this sort of thing, legal or not.

@HYRUL3: And it looks like it's trying to do it's own thing in the shooter space, which is cool. At first blush, I had no interest in this game, just based on the Game Informer reveal, it just sounded stupid and the characters and setting seemed corny and cliche.

@Dralel: Why would you want the specs to be more demanding? So you can get forced to turn off graphical features in the effort of achieving a decent framerate? Or so the community around the game is as small as possible?

My 4 year old MacPro running Win7 in bootcamp will do quite nicely it appears... (I just replaced my ATI X1900XT with a ATI 5700 1GB card, and I want to crossfire in another one it works so well- even though Apple claimed it was incompatible- liars).

@Chad_Sexington: They're saving that feature for a special Dom and Marcus only mission in Gears 3.

@HYRUL3: If it's a good game, it gets a pass for being puerile.

At least Bleszinski, Epic, and People Can Fly seem to know their target audience... right down to the latently homoerotic subtext of their humor.

@SaanZ: At what point did you start thinking this was completely compatible with the forthcoming PSP2.

@SacredByte: The only sound argument I've read here. You are absolutely right, and I appreciate correction.

@dfxdeimos: The right to bear arms was not originally in the Constitution. You are referring to the second ammendment, as detailed in the Bill of Rights.

@Nitroximos: I'd hardly call shooting at things with guns a 'medium'.

Is hoarding and collecting the same thing? I don't think so.

@stupid face: It's still a ludicrous argument. Again, I'm not completely anti gun, my only point in the original comment was that the difference between a hunting rifle and an assault rifle would not mean the difference between victory and defeat when fighting our own military. Or an invading force. Or for protecting

@danrux: Too bad nobody seems to care enough about the crimes our government already commits against it's populace each and every day to do anything with their guns than shoot an targets, animals, xboxes, and each other...

@stupid face: Do you really think that an M14a is going to make the difference, over a traditional hunting weapon, if you were trying to fight the US armed forces?
