Is that your prime directive?

Yeah, Weaving did a great job infusing V with a lot of character just based upon head movements and hand gestures. Great flick.

"And while I'm doing that I'm going to continue realizing the truth - that in the grand scheme of things the graphical power of the WiiU and the graphical power of a maxed out gaming pc is practically negligible."

Diablo 3 and Max Payne 3, mostly. Also, some NBA2K12 and Madden 12 online games.

Yeah, because the rich sure are hiring people instead of just hoarding cash and selling off stocks right now. And the poor sure redestributed 40% of the middle class's wealth to the upper echelon of society by keeping wages stagnant for the last 20 years while breaking the housing market and the economy.

Acting!

It takes about 2 weeks to get used to Killzone 3 with the sharpshooter, after which time you're the deadliest sniper ever online.

I like it, too, but Killzone 3 (with the Sharpshooter) was the only game worth playing with the Move. Head-tracking in Gran Turismo is also really cool, but only being able to use it in arcade races kind of ruins it.

I'm on a township 4th of July committee with a former mayor who fought in WWII and got the purple heart at Tarawa. It really is unbelievable what those guys went through.

That's like saying someone who uses a notepad to sketch isn't an artist because the notepad is primarily meant for writing. Also, specific hardware exists for gaming purposes, which seems to fly in the face of your argument.

Max Payne 3 is amazing on PC, almost makes me forgive them for GTAIV.

Picked up two games in the past week that I was putting off for some reason: Diablo 3 and Max Payne 3. I enjoyed Diablo 3 for about three days, until I beat it, and was pretty surprised and disappointed by its relative brevity. I mean, I know I'm apparently just supposed to keep playing the same levels over and over

Yeah, I just can't believe how short it is, and the explanation I'm given is, "Play it over on a harder difficulty." I invested like 200 hours into Torchlight, I don't know if I'm going to hit 25 on Diablo 3.

Yeah, but it's going to be the exact same game. I just don't know how many times I can replay the exact same thing, you know?

You know, I tried to figure that out, but I'm not quite sure. I think 15-20 hours, and that's with exploring every single inch of every map.

So, is this officially Microsoft's version of Lair?

He absolutely nails it, too — If not for Kinect fucking everything up, the game looks like it should be awesome. What a disappointment, it's Lair all over again.

So, last weekend I finally bit the bullet and picked up Diablo III. It's fun, full of loot crack, and about what I expected. What I didn't expect, however, was to beat the game in less than three days — I beat Diablo last night, and while I of course started over on a harder difficulty to find better stuff, I couldn't

Well, that's just it — I'd be willing to buy the thing if there was really something to justify its purchase (I was hoping Steel Battalion might be that game), but there's just been nothing. It's the same reason I sold the Move, after I waited forever for something worthwhile besides Killzone 3, which never

Wow, that is horribly disappointing. This was the only game I've seen that even made me consider buying a Kinect (not because I thought it would add to the experience, but rather just because the game around the Kinect stuff looked cool).
