Well, there are multiple items on that list it did invent that people seem to conveniently forget. One thing that I forgot was recharging shields.

Really? I mean, I didn't hate Alien 3 like most people, but I think Seven or Fight Club are his best movies.

I have a signed first edition/first printing of Fight Club (as well as first editions of every other Palahniuk novel except his non-fiction), one of my prized possessions.

Did it invent douchey comments about itself? It's like the chicken and the egg.

I don't like the idea of an instant respawn. For deathmatch, it doesn't bother me, but for any team affair it seems to kind of eliminate the whole benefit of taking somebody down (which is more favorable numbers for a spell).

And yet which games support 2880x1800, or better yet how will the GPU handle that resolution?

I think the idea behind that scene is remiscent of a serpent in the garden of eden, and Millburn was charmed into his stupidity. Shit kind of hit the fan after the c-section, but I think perhaps David intended to let the animal attack/evolve outside of Elizabeth (just like he was going to allow it to grow inside of

Did you find a new definition of pain and suffering, by any chance?

Makes perfect sense if you think about it. Mobility is limited by armor to begin with, so why put huge obstacles on your head that would make overhead arm movement impossible?

Look up some of the context behind the movie, the character's actions will make a lot more sense. Maybe you could say it's overreaching, but I don't think it's stupid at all.

There was one character's decision that seemed out-of-character and stupid, but I read an interesting take on the movie's subtext and changed my mind. I thought the movie was very enjoyable, even without being able to piece together all the subtext during my initial viewing.

Saw Prometheus yesterday . . . Not as good as Alien or Aliens, but still a solid third in the Aliens echelon of movies, IMO. I also need to see it a few more times to absorb some of the subtext, but overall on first viewing I give the flick a solid 3 1/2 stars.

I'm a big fan of the Ground Pounder game type. It plays slower without Hawks, and consequently a little more strategic. And if you have two teams communicating, it can have some epic back-and-forth battles.

I eventually came to that assumption, I don't know whether that's actually a band. I guess I could Google it, but meh.

Starhawk is awesome, my favorite online game in a long time.

If it makes you feel better, I'm a 32 year-old gamer who was wondering, "What is New Jazz? Is that different from . . . Old Jazz or something?", before I figured out it was a band. Love The Roots, though.

I love The Roots. Finally found Undun on vinyl a couple of days ago, can't wait until it ships (from Sweden, apparently, only released in Europe).

The racist undercurrent that pervades that demographic is fucking sickening.

Vigo, Vigo, Vigo . . . You've been a bad little monkey!

Personally, I love Starhawk. But I actually play the Ground Pounder mode exclusively (without the Hawks, only ground vehicles) because it seems more strategic.
