I've gotten back into Company of Heroes and Far Cry 2 for some reason, and I'm still thoroughly enjoying Day Z, NBA Jam, and Starhawk. What I'm really looking forward to this weekend, though, is game 7 between the Heat and Celtics. I don't know who to pick, but I'm rooting for the Celtics. I'm not one of the blind

Which shore? I grew up in Duluth, and there have been HUGE waves that have hit near the lift bridge.

Great game (have you played the Star Wars mod?), but the cover dynamic, ways to level up troops, and doctrine bonuses are what really puts CoH over the top for me.

Only way he sees the top of the key is trailing the break or on a pick-and-roll.

Oh my god I can't wait. CoH is still the best RTS of all-time, bar-none.

Far Cry 2 was awesome. The Dunia engine still impresses me. If they figured out a better solution than the respawning checkpoints and unbelievably homicidal jeep drivers (and just improved the AI a bit, in general), I would call it the best FPS ever made. I really liked finding diamonds and unlocking more weapons —

Yeah, because Amare and Tyson Chandler both excel at getting the ball and driving from the top of the key. Makes me wonder if there's a post-play system in place at all.

Whoa . . . Reading that first paragraph makes my head hurt.

So before, when Sony was trying to squash fledgling competition, that was okay. Now that it's more of an even playing field, the exact same tactic is somehow evil?

Glad to see you're operating at 100% Troll capacity.

Why don't you add something valid to the conversation instead of just regurgitating bullshit? Halo 1, 2, 3, ODST, Reach, 4 and Halo Wars since 2001 . . . That is not 11 titles in 11 years.

I think the quotations serve the situation pretty aptly, don't you?

People seem to forget the whole PS2/Sony/GTA-exclusivity thing, don't they? Payback's a bitch.

If you're into STALKER, get Call of Pripyat, instead. It's by far the best in the series.

I would go with a MAME cabinet, and then you can play more than just Neo Geo games. (I'm very tempted by that prospect, myself.)

How did you "borrow" a PC game that's connected to Battle.net?

Yeah, shit games that consistently score in the 9's and sell millions of copies.

I think the video was pressed in Silly Putty.

R3 is just amazing, I can't recommend it enough. I thought Portal 2 was my GOTY last year (followed by Skyrim and then Deus Ex HR), but that's only because I didn't play R3 until a few weeks ago. It has an actual narrative, good voice acting and cutscenes, cool setpieces, makes you feel like part of a larger battle,

Resistance 3 is the best FPS I've played in years, on par with Half Life 2. Haven't played the multiplayer, but the campaign is amazing.
