I am not convinced the truck is at fault here. Most likely she was being the unsafe one.

She is white and good looking. Instant no ticket.

So basically is a larger, modern version of a Daihatsu Mira Van

I’d like to congratulate Oshkosh on this achievement. I didn’t think it would be possible, but they’ve proven me wrong. They’ve made a mail truck that’s uglier than what we have now. Stunning.

WOW. Someone hit that with the fugly stick, HARD.

Perhaps his wishes were to not let the world know his true identity until a couple months after his family had had the opportunity to properly begin the grieving process. Perhaps he performed in anonymity for reasons you don’t need to know about. Perhaps it’s not about you.

And I’d assume it’s all the “living with a car” vs “this is electric future as described by Musk”.  Ford makes car choices, Tesla makes electric choices, news at 11.

Its a PITA to roll things back after the sale. In the 7 days you have to add it to insurance, fill out registration, and in most cases take a credit hit and open a loan with a bank.

Yeah, the idea that since it’s all “electric” nothing will break is just silly. I look at the current generation of EV’s like the first generation of color TV’s - Amazing new technology that changes the world, but still in its infancy. Being a TV repairman in the 60's & 70's was a great moneymaker, but the job

I feel like the Mach E is the perfect car for people who don’t want to deal with the potential baggage that Teslas carry (inconsistent service, Elon, ergonomics not for everyone, etc...). It’s a car that is close enough in performance, but people can still take to their dealer when something happens. Kind of a good

1st gear. I’ve said it before, I will say it again. For average biegemobiles, the greasy bits are the least of your concerns already. EVs are still cars, and share all the other crap that goes wrong over time and drives you insane as a car ages. Or do they not have suspensions, HVAC, infotainment, door handles,

1st Gear: If Tesla is the alternative case then a robust dealer network is preferable to me. Buying a Tesla was no easier than getting a car through a traditional dealer and getting a Tesla serviced is a lot more difficult. It can take over a month to get an appointment. Plus no one answers the phone at Tesla service.

First Gear: Never underestimate the staying power you gain by being able to Google something. It’s true that anyone can type words into Google and get a result, but most of the effectiveness comes from knowing what to type, finding some random forum post from 4 years ago, looking through it to decipher the useful

You didn’t even have a chance because the bullshit clickbait headline leads you to believe they will race, but it’s just two fools talking.

How can the Tesla Model Y be the better “electric vehicle”, but the Ford is the better “all around car”? Are electric vehicles not cars? Is “electric vehicle” supposed to mean something else now?

No surprise here - Ford is better at cars, while Tesla is better at all the EV stuff. Personally I’d go with the Tesla (I already have a Model 3) but I suspect it will be a matter of personal preference to most people, since they both seem like very good, well-rounded vehicles.

Range is not just a rational thing. That it is ‘enough’ in the real world for many people does not mean it feels as enough. Especially when you can get a competitor that offers 50% more for the same price.

Thak you Volkswagen for keeping the manual alive. In return, I will keep the Golf R on the list of new cars that I would consider as a daily driver. And that list is now limited to only a handful at this point.

It’s a Honda. Who buys them, other than the Americans and Japanese?

The Honda e isn’t selling well? I’m not really very surprised. Range seems to be the big factor when people are shopping for an electric car, and many just won’t consider an EV with poor range, regardless of what their daily driving habits are.
