Like, say, 2400 dollars?
Like, say, 2400 dollars?
As soon as it launches, I’ll try to set this up.
But where’s the teardown and burn test?
The Cybertruck makes the Cybertruck look like an angular silver turd.
Did you see the price?
The Bolt, Leaf, Kona, Ioniq, Soul EV, and i3 don’t do it for you?
My problem with Bollinger isn’t the looks... it’s the price (starting at $125,000).
Hey, I’ve had my Tesla Model 3 on The Tesla Network for that last 8 months, generating income and making my car payment, my rent and my 5-Hour Energy habit. People never vomit or release other bodily fluids in an unattended taxi service. Never.
You’ve apparently never met a hipster. Spend hundreds of $$ shopping at vintage clothing stores to maintain the appearance of someone who is perpetually one step away from homelessness.
The “range extender” is a complete joke. It seems like something you would want, but in order to still call it an electric car, the limits placed on the range extender make it all but pointless.
Yeah, this definitely glossed over a lot of the complexities, but more importantly, a lot of the cost of going electric. Crate Electric motors are nothing new, Yamaha has an entire lineup of them. But electric swaps that have a useful range are hideously expensive.
Interesting. Now what about the controller, wiring, battery and everything else?
The motor is the easy part.
Look more closely at what I wrote, specifically the 16th word.
Tesla also offers a system called “Full Self Driving Capability”, a phrase that sounds pretty unambiguous until you read the fine print (which too many people don’t).
“Model E” was always the best possible model name. Usher in the EV age the same way the “Model T” ushered in the universal automobile.
nah you’ll still be able to hear the crunching/screaming, albeit a lot better now
I’m definitely interested in a GT and $50k is a pretty damn good deal, IMHO.
I assume that the production version will have a b-pillar and regular rear doors.
That’s one way to think about it. Another is that the costs of relying on fossil fuels is even greater, and this is a way to jumpstart the BEV sector and create demand for infrastructure needed to support a primarily BEV fleet.
