What would make you happy coming out of my mouth right now? I’m genuinely curious.

“We’ve had three female, African-American mayors in a row. They were all passionate public servants. Two resigned, though,” Bubala said. “Is this a signal that a different kind of leadership is needed to move Baltimore City forward?”

you did a heinous crime

And yet when he’s in front of the cameras he puts on this air of being the greatest stand-up comedian of all time. It’s beyond cringey. It’s neck-wrenchy.

Joyce IS one of the toughest reads. I decided I had to approach his work with a sense of humor, because his longer works really are hilarious. Picking up a “Companion” to Ulysses was the trick. You have someone extremely keen on his work giving you plot points and explanations for Joyce’s never-ending references. Once

wow. You like Joyce? i found him to be the most incomprehensible writer. I was supposed to read Ulysses in college. I just could not get through it. (And was very annoyed when in class people kept talking about the shocking incident happened in the book, but wouldn’t actually state what happened that was so shocking.

I am so there!

This is genius. You know that, right?

What in the utter fuck, that’s not queso. That’s DRUNK SOUP.

That was honestly one of the stupidest things I've ever heard him say, and that's saying something

I am so tired of White People feeling “uncomfortable.”

The show this character is from is great btw.

“Hey William - Please tell me that you don’t believe cats can actually sign up to twitter? I actually think you do! That is why we believe in “fake news” Especially from the left!”

Cult members are always the ones who have it all figured out. Everyone else is crazy.

Yes. For fucks sake, enough with this Orwellian newspeak, it’s called lying.

Now “Last in Line” is in my head.

Have you listened to the podcast Dead Rockstars? Two English music writers dish about some of the greats they were lucky enough to work with and sometimes befriend. The Dio episode was a great one.

Not to take away from the focus of this article, but...

Now playing

I would think that anyone wearing a “fanny” pack (snicker) would be automatically labeled a tourist. They certainly are in New York.
