A guy who talks to a camera as his job, going around talking to interesting people while on live TV. What do people expect F1 to do?, let the man work. If you’re so famous that you can stop a multi billion $ production on live TV cause it doesn’t interest you, then you are about to learn you are not that famous yet.

The entire thing has read as mostly tongue in cheek to me.

Brundle has a good reason for chatting with people on the grid. What was Megan doing there, just being famous? The “DON’T MAKE EYE CONTACT WITH THE TALENT” attitude from her clueless bodyguard seems like a good justification for banning entourages from the grid.

I mean... Megan Thee Stallion and the rest of the celebrities we’re talking about aren’t that important EITHER, so F1 saying “hey, you wanna be part of our show, you have to ACTUALLY be part of our show” doesn’t seem unreasonable to me.
