Whoa, whoa, whoa. Toxicology found marijuana in his system, but that doesn’t mean he was high. Marijuana can stay in your system for up to 60 days (but for most people will be gone way before then).

Agreed. This one got me right in the feels. I guess the only positive to come out of this entire story is that her child survived. I’m very curious what happened here simply because I believe we can always learn from such tragedies /situations.
“Dissed for believing in God in front of extras. Fuckery was real.”
Let me shed a little more light on what I believe OP’s original intent was.
Yeah...I understand the intention, but I also fear that this proposed legislative change is being written by individuals who have zero practical experience with traffic violations. Genuinely curious: Would you pull over?
Yeah...good luck with that. You’ve likely just made “the list”. I’ve been on this site for over 10 years in some way/shape. I got dumped into the grays on Jalopnik for the first time yesterday on this very thread. Most of my other comments (completely civil - merely of a dissenting opinion) have been wiped clean off.…
You’re not wrong. As I posted elsewhere on this mess of a comment section, anyone with half a brain would have done their best to avoid this. Furthermore, this was in an area that most people should be avoiding given the political climate (Times Square - you know it’s going to be a hot spot for protests).
Let me ask, how do you know the ones on Autotrader won’t need the same service given the similar mileage? A clutch is a consumable item, regardless of how gently driven the vehicle is. I purposely look for project vehicles where I can occasionally add value. This fits the bill quite nicely.
I’ll openly admit that this is fishy; even the “full video” omits what occurred prior (How did he wind up there?). As you correctly stated, this occurred in Times Square. Any person that has half a brain would’ve turned the other way and avoided this group. However, who knows what the true motivation for the driver…
Thanks for the confirmation! Seems to me that engine swaps would also be the best solution for the USPS (given the fact that the vehicles likely run on similar schedules). However, I’m guessing the USPS is nowhere near as well funded (or managed) as UPS.
Here you go. Demonstrating exactly what occurred here (which your author conveniently glossed over - and purposely didn’t include the full video). You don’t slash tires on a car for purposes of facilitating their escape. You slash tires because you intend to immobilize the vehicle. Or do you let the air out of your…
I’ve been on this site in some shape or another for over 10 years. For the first time, I got “grayed” on Jalopnik. Check the comment history, there’s no hate, merely a viewpoint that dissents from the overall tone of the article. Last I checked, isn’t Kinja (or whatever we’re calling this) designed to promote friendly…
I weapon was brandished and tires were slashed to prevent him from leaving. What do you think the next step was going to be?
It was the next step considering they slashed his tires...
What did you say?
It was a knife actually
Knife is visible in this video.
Watch (and listen).
Thank you for posting the FULL video for everyone to see (and more importantly, hear).
“Let’s pop his tires” seems sufficient to me. What do you say?
