I like to use Enamel wash instead of tamiya’s panel accent, due to the fact that i can clean off excess Enamel with Lighter Fluid and Q-tip, and it’s stronger than acrylic imo. And you get the freedom of picking the color you want to panel line with (ex. white/red on a dark colored part)
