I really don't see the problem. Presumably (and if this is false, then it shouldn't be) the method has been testing on animals long before its tested on humans, and if the embryos in question are being designed to have a correction for a genetic disorder, its no different from a parent consenting to let their newborn

On this same tangent, your finger nails scratch things way more often, thus increasing the amount of stress on them. Stress= more growth.

Gah, why do you have to be so sour? Fresh/homemade bone broth/ bone stock is good, and good for you, and has been almost completely replaced by decidedly inferior bouillon cubes and boxed stuff. There's really no need to throw a hissy fit because some people are selling it for ridiculous prices and other people are

I really liked him in GL, it really wasn’t his fault the movie has a sh*t villain and worse pacing.

Don't forget also that rich people stay rich because they own the cheep boot company, which never goes out of business, but the expensive boot maker needs to live in near poverty.

I saw this by accident on tv when I was 10 (just the last 40min or so, I remeber some guy getting ejected from an airlock and... the end...) and It Ruined Me. I literally still have nightmares.

Yeah, that’s a good point- a person who succumbs to peer pressure really isn’t in need of much treatment beyond a way to extract themselves from that environment (so, the opposite of prison).

It occurs to me that if all murder/crime was treated as a mental laps that should be medically treated until corrected (as in, actual, science based psychology, not... you know) the world would be a much happier place, with many many fewer "criminals".

WHY isn't there a baby mutant ninja turtles show? WHY!!!!!

(and not just because Ayn Rand hated it.)

Actually, I sort of forgot there was more book. I like the movie better anyway.

The Fountainhead is a really great book, with really good points and really compelling characters. Atlas shrugged is a long winded politically charged author produced fan fiction sequel to the fountainhead.

I had an interesting experience with this series. I commuted with my dad for a few years, and I took this out on audio book to listen to in the car. My dad had read the books a long time ago, and remembered them only vaguely, but it was my first time. I enjoyed it thoroughly, and my dad enjoyed listening to it with

I  Robinton.

I thought this book was great the first time I read it as a 12 year old girl. I... didn't think so the second time, as a 22 year old one.

I just had the somewhat uncomfortable realization that my first introduction to nearly all of these tropes was on Rugrats. Rugrats!

I read a lot of books when I was a kid, and I had lots of favorites, but I guess the Animophs books might have been my favorite for the longest.

I agree, and unfortunately, now that the discussion had begun, all we can do is point out how stupid and wrong it is that it began in the first place.

Ban them from public schools, with a tax benifit to private schools who also ban them, and put a tax on not being vaccinated, obviously.

Really, the fact that there even needs to be a discussion is the problem. If someone used a "socially appropriate" hook, like singing or dancing, no one would bat an eye, but because some parts of society lay claim to women's bodies (in the form of dictating how a woman's body can and cannot be dressed, even after
