I think that scene has a deliberate double meaning. At first glance, Horse seems to be taking advantage of Alan - that’s what Nadia assumes, and what we’re supposed to assume. But I think that his line “We’ve got another one” actually means “we’ve got another looper”, and that he accepts Alan’s material possessions

I actually took away something else from the documentary - I’d only ever heard the much vaguer stories of Bundy, as handsome/charming/intelligent. While I completely agree that the documentary virtually ignores and dehumanizes the victims, I think it actually demystifies Bundy to some extent.

I don’t think most people are angry at the end for Hugh, i think it’s that final montage starting when Luke wakes up and the optimistic FM Radio Acoustic Guitar starts up that’s making us all rageful.
