Ah, I missed the scenes in the end credits! I remembered in the book that Amma’s roller skate buddies helped her with the killings, and was surprised they didn’t explain it further in the show.

I’m glad to see I’m not the only one who loved the 2008 film (gut-punch ending and all). I haven’t seen the TV show and judging by the reception I’ll keep it that way. It’s a shame because it seemed like a can’t fail premise.
