More of this election season goes on the more I realise actual left wing politics in the US is DOA. All you will get is slightly more equality amongst the faces of those whose boot is on the face of the majority.

This is not the only dumb thing she recently said about abortion. If Bernie called a fetus an unborn child and wanted later term restrictions and now said that you could be pro-life and a feminist he would be facing a huge backlash.

Especially since, y’know, not all of America lives in NYC or rides the subway. Contrary to what Gawker and so many other media employees may sometimes think.

I recently read his tuition-free college plan and it’s crazy how it assumes that states will happily depend on Wall Street success in order to fund their universities (God forbid that economic downturns will happen).

My summary:

I think you kind of buried the lede on this. The president does not need to ride the subway. The president should have some concept of how they would execute their campaign promises.

Dude’s so goddamn vague about everything. I swear to god, I’ve seen a couple of speeches where he was actually more eloquent and informed about things. Is he trying to make it this generalised to keep up the whole optimistic “revolution” momentum going or what?
