With modern vehicles this seems like a difficult thing to enforce. Modern AWD systems have come very far and can transfer power in ways 4WD vehicles cant. While a 4WD can split power equally some AWD can force greater than 50% to a specific tire if another is slipping. My 4Runner and my Sequia can do this on top of…
As much as I like to point out that these things are poorly designed and poorly built the reason for this failure was from the earlier test where it drove across cement pipes and then the back came crashing down 6 feet onto solid concrete. With the weight of those tubs that probably destroyed the rear and cracked it…
Well they will check that you have a valid license, but I doubt they have access to say DMV/police records, and who knows maybe the dude did have good credit. I’m not saying it’s not their fault it 100% is and they need to change their procedures.
Meanwhile the gun nuts who are so scared they need to carry everywhere would love this, but they also hate EV’s.
A California woman is suing JetBlue, claiming the airline’s refusal to allow her emotional support dog to accompany her last year led to a resurgence in her Stage 4 cancer.
Under the ACAA, JetBlue would have been required to accommodate a trained service dog but not an emotional support animal, and JetBlue’s website clearly states that dogs are not allowed in first class.
C’mon. Uber and Lyft drivers are contractors by every legal definition.
Based on the wheels in the photo, that’s a 2005 BMW 325i which has 184hp and has a 0-60 time between 7-8 seconds. Compared to a base Honda Accord from the same year, the base BMW isn’t significantly faster or more powerful.
Am I the only one getting auto-forwarded to the Root as the first “related” article pixel that pops up at the bottom of the article or the end of the comments.
I think one of the main other reasonings towards this awful, awful trend is the fact direct-injection engines tend to lead to dirty exhaust tips.
My BMW iX M60 weighs 5600 lbs.
Person with morals here. Nothing about stealing something then demanding ransom is honorable, especially when these same people are doing it to healthcare companies.
Well I mean needing to order 5 times the number of mugs you have employees in the 2 ish years the factory has been open seems odd.
Yeah it seems so crazy that he seems to purposefully not use the siren and lights. It’s almost like he wants bad shit to happen... and maybe he does!
I mean, this lines up with what the rest of the market is doing. The high-end EV as a boutique item has more options out there than interested consumers. Everyone is just clamoring for the affordable options now.
You are not comparing apples to apples. Model S should be compared to the Porsche Taycan...that sold 1635 units from April to June. Doesn’t look so terrible now.
So how do current sales of the S and X compare to historical sales? IIRC, they have never sold in particularly large numbers - maybe 100K a year? No $70-100K+ cars do. How they sell relative to other company’s cars is not really all that important, and certainly Hyundai doesn’t make anything comparable in price. How…
Yup, tonneau covers are never 100% waterproof like the trunk of a car. They always let some water in, but do a good job of keeping the vast majority of it out. That's what these photos seem to show.
You buy a pickup truck, a vehicle that by definition keeps your stuff unsecured and exposed to the elements, because one day, maybe, you may help your friend move or carry a domestic appliance that otherwise will not fit in the truck of a car.
