Mark Judge, the man Christine Blasey Ford says was in the room when Kavanaugh tried to sexually assault her, says he has “no memory of this alleged incident” and that he does not “wish to speak publicly about the incidents described.”

I am BEYOND frustrated listening to this. The way he pats himself on the back “Harpers, so ahead of the times!” for firing a guy accused of harassment. “The women in the office... most of the women... are very supportive of this piece.”

Yeah, I’m guessing it was a distressingly commonplace harassment back in the day of landlines.

In my case, the guy likely did not know who he was calling. He asked for a “Judy” which is not the name of anyone in my family but is the name of someone who was a friend of our family and who could’ve been at my house at one…

Holy shit. Are you me? This is my exact story, except the boy/man on the other end of the crank call asked for me by name over a land line, which meant I likely knew him, or he knew me.

I was 12 as well. It was that same moment that I realized my father was more invested in defending “boys will be boys” than his own daughter’s sense of bodily autonomy and safety. And as another poster mentioned, my story is harassment-lite.

Over the course of this interview, it becomes clear that MacArthur is disinterested the in the differences between sexual harassment and sexual assault, and seems uncomfortable when confronted with the details of each.

Listening to this is INFURIATING. Aside from his epic bad takes, MacArthur keeps talking over her, monopolizing the entire conversation, just as you would expect from a man used to being in a position of power. He’s such a colossal dick.
