I only have issues of Road & Track going back to 1979. I can't just throw them out, yet they cost too much to ebay and ship anywhere. So there they sit, growing by one each month.

How long until we can peel off the wrap?
Just tell me what wire I need to cut.
Because laser removal. Or belt sander…
That's what I thought.
Please Jalopnik, the emperor has no clothes, this thing is horrible. It also looks like they learned from Land Rover with the DC100 that its easier to photoshop a vehicle into a tough spot than drive them there like you could do with the urG-Wagen or Defender.
I too did it on a rented Harley. Think I scraped a third of the floorboards off on that road.
Two zeroes too many on that price for it to even be worth it for a novelty factor. Just [truley] horrible.
I agree, this is fantastic. Been avoiding social media all day, but this is a nice consideration for those of us who have time shifted our viewing for other reasons.

Why are the windows so small? Its like Hummer H3 proportions. If I'm off road I want a big greenhouse to see what's around me. Also think it needs a removable top and full cage.
It is a shame that BMW is going to build the bobsled as a marketing tool, wish they'd focus on motor sports. I remember when the sleds for the USA team were built by the Bodines. In a turnabout, will the German team start racing sleds built by a couple of NASCAR racers from upstate NY?
I'm a graphic designer, and have a degree in Art and Art History, suffice to say, I'm confident in my skills that I could do it. Part of one's career in a creative field, whether it be design, architecture or art is that your work is constantly critiqued and analyzed. Happens every day, and in this instance I find the…
You say kid, I think 9 year old, and I think its cool. Then I read 19 year old and see what a lousy job it is and think he can't find a date, and think he'll never get a second one if he ever brings a girl up there.
Already have the iPhone 5 and a MacBook Pro so I thought this would fit the niche pretty well. In the end however I bought another handgun and it fits my palm really well and will be much more effective during the zombie apocalypse or Mayan whatever it is.
Growing up I would always read Rob Walker's reports of F1, now times have changed and we can actually see F1 on TV, but any chance you can get an ex-F1 driver or team owner to write an editorial on racing (mainly F1) each month? Also Peter Egan is god, don't get rid of him or Dennis Simantis. Bring back Salon, it was…
James Glickenhaus does a much better job at modding a Ferrari. P4/5, just saying.
F1 may present the image of being larger than life and embracing the luxury lifestyle with celebrities and billionaires, but when it comes down to it, they make their money off the millions of fans worldwide and building that exposure as value to sponsors. But that is F1, and what we're talking about here is the COTA…
COTA has done nothing to inspire me to part with my money and travel to Austin. A ticketing mess with PSL, delays in announcing pricing on F1 tickets, no camping at the track, draconian restrictions on what can be brought into the track, restrictive parking measures, a no foot traffic restriction so you can't even…
You chose the wrong Range Rover. The P38 while lovely when operational is not the best choice. A nice Range Rover Classic is the way to go, an even lower entry price means more money to make your mods. Even a Disco I is a great platform, basically a Defender, but with a civilized interior. Find a rust free version and…
