When you look at how pretty this car is it really makes you wonder what the BMW designers were smoking with the Grand Coupe monstrosity.

Its a full-size Subaru Outback. No that is not a compliment.

Can I start a COTA rant?

Frat boy? He's lamenting the shitstorm that NASCAR has become with meaningless sponsorship and tie-ins because some fuck-wad in marketing at XYZ company thinks it will get a lot of exposure.

Well played. Too bad everyone falls asleep during his lectures.

We are, ditch two wheels and join the club. ;-)

At this model year someone spent a lot of money getting it into the states. The person overseas who can figure out how to get a supply of 25+ year old Defenders to import into the states will probably be able to make some nice profits.

I wish BBC America would take the rights to broadcast at least the BBC's share of the F1 races in the states. Lord knows it wouldn't ruin the string of repeated shows that it now has. In a complete coup, they could also show the SKY weekends too.

The 25 year rule is to import a car without modification. A more recent vehicle can be brought in but has to be made compliant with all safety and emissions regulations.

Best comment in ages!

I was too.

I dropped the cable package which had Speed in it several years ago. Thanks to the Internet I can see all I want and no NASCAR or other crappy shows. Haven't missed a F1, Moto GP or WRC event for ages. Plus see things like Isle of Mann and Goodwood (FoS and Revival) that you never see here anyway.

I really wanted to like the Spyder, but just can't. Its neither fish nor fowl. Heavier than a bike, not very much power, a ton of electronic nannies that cut in and you can't lean into turns. Then there are the things like hitting every bump with the three wheels, no weather protection and not much more storage space

Boy, tough crowd. These videos are great, the music isn't out of place and there is plenty of engine sound in part 2. If you guys want to make a video this good of breaking a record at Bonneville or of anything else, go ahead.

Totally sweet. I want to see the spoiler raise and wheels turn as you make the "wind" speed up.

Absolutely. Both true gentlemen.

Reminds me of when VW tried to sell the Harlequin Golf.

Morning Mis-shift? Feels like yesterday. Maybe Jalopnik is imitating Hamilton's gearbox in Singapore.

My mother traveled to Italy a couple years ago and brought me back a Ferrari hat. To this day it has never left the house. It was a really nice gesture, but I just can't do it.

My opinion of the Panamera just did a 180° turn. What I used to loathe, now I covet.
