My local Ferrari dealership (Cauley Ferrari of detroit) hosts an open house every month. It’s a FANTASTIC opportunity to see and touch and occasionally sit in the offerings from The Prancing Horse.  Events like this have long supplanted auto shows for me.  

Auto shows without serious factory/dealer involvement from the world’s top sports/exotic car makers are not terribly appealing to me.
