Most of a photo of A truck exists. Nothing on sale, no confirmed specs, nothing in serial production. They are building something that looks like the truck you describe and that’s literally all we know.
I think its great that you love it. I think its an albatros abortion. Here are a few problems with the features you mention though.
1) It’s different than every other pickup truck on the road. It’s non-conformist, and it’s basically a big middle finger to mundanity and convention.
I don’t really want to see it either, so that works out.
Comedy taste is too personal to argue over (I believe people who love Family Guy genuinely love it — good for them!). But I do think it’s inarguable that ITYSL is in its own belligerent way maybe the nicest comedy on streaming (sorry Ted Lasso). There’s something just silly-hearted and uncruel about his absurdity.…
“I’m too empathetic to like cringe humour - I get that, from your response and other’s in the thread, it really only works if you don’t relate to other people.”
“My uncle was the coolest. He lived with my grandpa his whole life. So did I.”
Some of these commenters shouldn’t have had such a sloppy mudpie
Why would you take the time to write this comment about the third season of a show, without seeing anything else from it????
Yes anonymous weirdos are really really good at it though dayum
Hes playing you, the insecure man child.
I’m on the border of Gen X and millennial, for whatever that’s worth, and I think the first two seasons are some of the funniest comedy every produced. I guess Tim Robinson’s comedy is my exact style.
So a few sketches that aren’t really scream-based or Tim-based might help - I’d imagine it’s tough for the trailer to do much since most of the comedy is pretty context- and character-based. I’d definitely agree much of the humor is based on a certain amount of repetition, but I’d argue it’s less pure repetition (in…
“Is it supposed to be funny because we’re told it’s funny and we’re all meant to just...go along with it Emperor’s New Clothes style lest we be shunned by our peers?”
Do you really think that because you don’t get it then everyone else must be lying about how much they like the show? Pretty narcissistic of you there, Pete.
“I’ve really showed them who the real comedy-knowing adult in the room is,” he chuckled to himself, shutting off his computer with a satisfied grunt.
It’s really not anti-comedy. I like Tim and Eric and all that jazz as well, but this is pretty legitimately just comedy. If you don’t find it funny, that’s fine, comedy’s subjective, but there are legitimate setups and punchlines and good lines. The difference might be that the show essentially focuses on one…
“One would think” you’re a fuckin dork
His performance often straddles the line between “worst thing about the sketch” and “by far the best thing about the sketch”
