I applaud every time I see this photo, so honestly, I understand.

Ahh yes the old “Black people are wrong or lying about the racism they experienced growing up and continue to experience” line.
LOLOLOLOLOL ok. Race isn’t a problem in this country.
You mean except they were called in about black teens drinking? Or that they might have been in an area or neighborhood that had a high percentage of black teens? They expected to find black teens, so they treated them as black teens...
Ummmm not even the cops are claiming they were shot at...
The car “moved in an aggressive manner” that deserved to be shot at, but they didn’t ticket or arrest the driver after they shot the car up. If they can’t throw an attempted murder charge at the driver then they shouldn’t have been shooting at the car.
It’s “Jefferson.”
Fuck every last “law enforcement officer.” The biggest sham in this country. The only things they “protect and serve” are white people and white supremacy. Fuck them all to hell. I don’t care if your dad, uncle, brother, sister, mother is one of the “good ones,” they’re all complicit in this charade.
We are past it. The articles are out there, the thinkpieces the well researched articles everything is out there already. Hence the I cant believe we are still dealing with this. The woman in the article listened when they told her she was appropriating she did her research and apologized. No more holding hands, no…
“Gonna suck on voting rights until they pop.”
*sigh*
Given the sheer apathy and hatred towards Dr. King, the Civil Rights Movement (or any movement towards Black liberation) and the plight of people of color in America shown throughout history by the vast majority of white people—nah, we’re not playing to your white fragility. If an “ally” thinks their feelings matter…
It seems that whenever white people say they want “a conversation,” it always ends with us having to sit and listen to them talk about things like this that they don’t know shit about. All we got from this guy was a self-aggrandizing “not-racism” to the point of belittling the Black passengers and painfully unfiltered…
I was waiting for the “what would MLK think” portion of article. Whenever dwights want to admonish the behavior of black people, they bring up good ole’ MLK, like he’s our dad or something. It’s just PEAK whiteness to try and shame us using MLK when they know good and damn well that they killed him and he was hated…
I am the same way but I have learned that anxiety is normal. Even the anxiety described in the post, it is normal because that’s her experience. That is her default setting. I think the normalization of anxiety is absolutely necessary because it opens up a dialogue about how to manage anxiety.
You’re not relegated to Suave. This isn’t about white people using the product. It’s more like...the company is alienating their main customer base by not representing them in their advertisements. Like 95% of ads are all white people, if this company is mainly supported by black people then why the hell arent they…
No offense, but you don’t know WTF this argument is about. White women have always been able to use whatever product they want. The issue is this particular company wouldn’t exist today without massive support of unmixed black women with nappy hair. Like, high multi-millions of revenue because nobody else cared to…
Oh. I thought that was some kind of noodles or shoe strings. I was really confused.
I’m not sure I see your point?
