Zero mechanical issues in my 2.5 year old Cruze.

Most compact cars have more than enough power to hit at least 120, but manufactuers keep putting 110mph limiters on them because of the cheapo tires. My friend’s 2011 Mazda3 easily reaches 110 with the 2.0 engine and could easily keep going to at least 125 if not more, if it didn’t have a limiter.

The GTI is a comfortable, do it all, mature when it wants to be, playful when you let it be car.

The ST is not as buttoned down. The seats are ridiculous. It doesn’t behave in traffic like the GTI. Its not a jack of all trades, its more of a wild child. Its not the GTI, not quite, its much more performance oriented by

DO IT! I want to do this with my MR2 now, lol.

Stab wounds and gun shot wounds have pretty similar fatality rates...soooo...maybe?

What is this? A well thought out and practical approach to reviewing cars on Jalopnik?

I thought about putting up the Volvo supperlegga on Turo. $5 a day. Cause it just sits most of the time right now I’m not sure how many offers I would get.

Considering you can rent a ‘64 Stingray for $134/day, it’s not obscene; it’s fucking insane!

The Turo selection in my city is pretty depressing. I could rent a 2016 Corvette for $340 a day (which is just obscene pricing), or a 2004 CLK, or a 2009 Yukon.

But the winner: a 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage for 83 GODDAMN DOLLARS A DAY.

Very detailed and thorough. Well done.

It should be illegal to own a knife and stab a person. Clearly, we don’t have enough laws to keep people from doing this.

Will there be a diesel version ?

Driver: check out my vtec, yo.

I will advocate for both cars any day.

I find the build and ride quality to be superior in the Cruze.

“Allemon felt his vehicle was disrespected when the victim installed eBay coilovers and a “Shocker” decal on his rear window inset with a Japanese Rising Sun design,” the release says.

I’d stab the shit out of people too if I had to drive around with a haircut like that.

what a waste. Those are good little cars.

I drove a Cruze sedan rental through a lot of the Rocky Mountain states on a vacation there. Like you say, it wasn’t very exciting, but it was great for covering lots of miles every day. I liked it for the purpose, and it got very good gas mileage too. It was in no way underpowered for going up mountain passes in Utah
