I chucked one of those off Caesar's Head in SC many years back. That thing sailed.

Nintendo is right to be worried. They may have a stable of in house games that will always sell gazillions, but the development time of them is so long it's ridiculous. A sequel to a AAA Nintendo title usually takes 3-5 years while on the other systems its a year and a half, tops. In addition, they have some seriously

Ugh.....I have got to stop reading the comments on these iPad articles. Seriously, what the hell is wrong with all you people? It's like most of you live in some bizarre black and white tech world where only the gadgets that you like are worth a shit and you feel the need to drill your point of view down the throats

Totally getting one. Only the poly though, $70 for half a case is a bit more than I can swallow.

LOL, that is an eerily accurate portrayal!

I can't wait for Friday! Garage Band alone has me sold on this thing. It's gonna be fantastic for sketching out ideas in-between band practices. I'm really glad I didn't jump the gun and buy a first gen iPad or a Xoom. My girlfriend is gonna be so pissed at me for ignoring her all weekend.........

They're gonna need new readers 'cuz about half the old ones left.

In his defense, it is called "Gizmodo, the Gadget Guide". In addition to the new layout the stories are less and less about gadgets and tech. Pretty strange for a tech blog.

I get pretty good speeds on T-Mo with my Nexus S. Not quite as fast as wifi, but plenty enough to get things done. At my bands "studio" (really, a converted storage shed) I use it to connect my MacBook Pro and my guitar players' iPad and run AirDisplay. I plan on picking up a wifi iPad 2 on Friday.

Way too much free time.....

Nice!

I kind of agree with you. A good friend of mine has an iPad and I was astounded that he couldn't download a file from the browser. I've been an Android user since the G1 (I have a Nexus S now and its fantastic; I would never trade it for an iPhone) and I've grown accustomed to being able to manage and move files

At this point I feel like Moto is actively trying to get me to not buy this thing.

Here's my criteria for piracy:

Chrome has AdBlocker too.

Still looks like TW 3.0 which is on the current SGS. It looks nice at first, but gets real laggy when you start loading up apps and actually using the widgets. Phone flies if you root and strip all the TW crap out. Next phone I buy is gonna be a stock Google experience device.

I would. My Samsung Vibrant got a nasty scratch right by the T-Mo label (fortunately right above the screen) before I put one on. It never hurts to be careful.

Damn, beat me to it. +1

You're right, its not that bad..............if you enable ad blocker and switch to the classic view. Then its only mildy terrible.
