You’re half-right. Square does own the rights to the characters, but Disney owns the rights to the entire franchise because it’s published under Disney Interactive yet marketed as a Square Enix product (it’s complicated). Disney has promoted Sora a couple times in their mobile games and blog, so it’s not a matter of

Jesus. Was the mask really necessary?

GASP

When was that? :/

SURE, FINAL FANTASY GETS A RIDE LIKE NOTHING. MEANWHILE, KINGDOM HEARTS FANS HAVE TO BEG AND PLEAD TO GET SO MUCH AS A PARADE FLOAT AT DISNEY LAND.

Pardon my ignorance, but is this a game I’m supposed to be aware of? This is the first I’m hearing of it.

If I had to guess, it’s probably going to be like Lego where some kits are specialized to specific projects and others will be general purpose kits that allow you to get creative.

It’s kinda hilarious how derpy Bowser looked in this era. He’s all chunky and squinty-eyed. Looks more like a mafia boss than a terrifying fire-breathing turtle.

Oh dear...

Oh my god. The “clueless crush who just can’t take a hint” trope drives me insane. It’s not good storytelling. Its only purpose is to artificially escalate the conflict without actually raising the stakes. Furthermore, it’s lazy character design. I mean, why bother giving the character a legitimate reason to reject

I dunno if I’d be that harsh. It’s not main character stylish to be sure, but it’s still better than “random extra”. Hell, I’d say this hairstyle is at least minor character worthy! I mean, you can imagine this guy showing up mysteriously about a third of the way through the series, right?

An impressive feat to be sure, but can someone tell me who did his hair? That half-and-half coloring is absurdly stylish!

Absolutely right. “Father of the year”? More like “WORST Father of the year”. The kid only learned two things from this experience:

If you’re in the mood for a competently-made JRPG and don’t have anything better to play, give DSCS a shot. It’s a totally isolated story, so you don’t have to know a thing about Digimon to get into it. The most interesting thing it adds is raising Digimon. Seriously; there’s a ton of options for how you can go about

At this point, a very obvious truth sure, but still the truth. I mean, the only people who still think that way are those who are still insecure about their maturity. And frankly, the community has done a good enough job shutting them up that it’s not even that popular of an opinion anymore.

I am so glad this game is getting exposed to more people. It’s some of Nomura’s best work, in my opinion.

Not to discredit the artist, but good God is pixel art overdone. It was great in the 8- and 16-bit eras when devs had no other choice, and I understand it can also be a good stylistic choice like in Undertale, but everyone and their brother is doing these days, it seems like.

I have very conflicting opinions on Nintendo. On one hand, I appreciate them as artists. A LOT, actually. Nintendo has such a unique approach to game design that no other developer has been able to replicate before or since. Nintendo always seems to have new ideas up their sleeves, and while not all of them are home

Not to condone them, but doing the right thing is never as easy as it looks. I mean, think about it for a minute. If YOU were making millions off this guys channel, would YOU close it down without hesitation?

Spelling errors aside, I think she’s onto something. Nintendogs would work great as a mobile game! Especially if put new toys/extra dogs behind pay walls and shit like that. Get on this gold mine, Nintendo!
