If the Zelda one had a camera window, I’d totally get it. Shame it doesn’t.

This is, of course, assuming the laws are made by people with at least competent knowledge of the games industry and are actually enforced instead of getting passed off to some overworked, underpaid, FCC lackey that couldn’t give less of a shit; which is the far more likely scenario.

It never ceases to amaze me how photogenic Japan is. Even the urban areas!

Aside from charging you obnoxious amounts of rupees to decipher the maps in Wind Waker, I don’t get why people hate this guy so much. I think the concept of a 35-year-old man running around in tights and believing he’s a fairy is actually kinda hilarious.

I would think the problem, if there is one, would be slander. He basically accused the man of killing himself—which is a crime.

Nintendo themselves have endorsed Style Savvy on multiple occasions, so they can’t be THAT bad.

It IS opt-in. If you don’t want to see ads, all you have to do is change a setting. What does that take; like two minutes?

It’s Danganronpa. Virtually any screenshot you can possibly take will be a spoiler. Kind of a tricky situation.

I mean...you can turn off ads fairly easily, so what’s the harm?

I know, right? Who would expect a glorified tech demo to come such a long way and actually develop a fanbase?

Nerd Rage was a really amusing spin on A Christmas Carol.

Dude, don’t criticize people for having different tastes. A good game is a good game.

Studies have shown it’s best to stop playing while you’re still having fun, so you can look forward to coming back next time!

Thankfully, the few people in my family who do give me gifts have been considerate enough to simply give me a Gamestop gift card.

My gut feeling is that this is a marketing gimmick intended to get a reaction out of people without showing their hand too early in terms of narrative development. Chances are pretty good that there’s an entirely different side to this we have yet to see in the game. Atlus rarely acts THIS predictably.

I didn’t know you could change the cabinet configurations! :O That’s a really neat addition these arcade ports. Did not expect Nintendo to go the extra mile like that.

As much as I disapprove of the practice, there’s something to be said for personal accountability. If you get trapped in a gambling addiction, you have no one to blame but yourself. I mean, the consequences are common knowledge at this point. Nobody with a functioning brain should be falling for loot boxes.

I agree, and I also feel that it’s not the government’s responsibility either. Personally, I have little pity for gamblers and/or addicts. If you didn’t want to lose all your money to loot boxes, you should have quit while you still had the chance. Personal accountability is what’s missing in this scenario. I’m not

I doubt that’s the case, but anytime I do someone do that I just go, “Wow, dude. Way to take a fucking cheapshot.”

Shame it wasn’t legitimate. Cuphead seems like the type of game that would be really well-suited to handhelds. Pick it up, beat a couple of bosses, put it away, and jump right back in; perfect for on-the-go gamers to play in small doses!
