Not ALWAYS a good thing. Especially when the regulations are being made by overworked pencil-pushing FCC lackeys who know nothing about games and mostly pull rules out of their ass to get through the massive to-do pile faster.

Yeah. I mean, not knocking it, but what is the point of cosplaying realistically-designed characters?
What made Ren and Stimpy work was the era it was created in; there’s no fixing that. Ren and Stimpy came at a time when cartoons needed it most: a time when the FCC ran rampant with regulations and misguided moral guardianship ruled the earth.
Welp. I guess that explains why most of the jokes sail over my head. I’m all for in-jokes, but when they take up like 80% of the strip, I think that’s a good sign you need to pace yourself a little.
Really a shame too, because Sun and Moon are the closest I’ve ever come to genuinely enjoying a Pokemon game.
Just when I thought the industry was above ads that could be mistaken for porn...
I was honestly shocked when I visited Japan at just how popular Peanuts is over there. The one toy store we visited had an entire floor dedicated to Peanuts merch complete with the films dubbed in Japanese!
But why can’t people see they’re being duped into a model that will cost them significantly more money in the long-run for a game they’re only continuing to play because they’re trapped in a Skinner box?
“There’s a world where it gets easier and easier to move that code around — where we may not have to do an annual release. We can really think about those games as a 365-day, live service.”
Sounds more like “Used Car Salesman Mario” to me.
Even in train simulators you still find the overexcited teen girl that seems to be in all Japanese arcade games. :/
I did too and I was like, “Wtf? How does that even work?”
I’m conflicted about Life in Aggro. I love the artstyle and the humor, but 90% of the references sail over my head.
See, this is why I appreciate Sony’s business policies vs. Nintendo’s. They reward you for putting up with the bullshit.
I see you’re a connoiseur of cheapshot political jokes. Truly the height of humor.
This has got “fan-service” written all over it, but keep talking, Game Freak. I wanna see where this goes.
Good ol’ Nintendo doing things differently because they’re Nintendo. I swear this company will be the death of me for all the right AND wrong reasons.
Considering how much it emulates the PS4 OS already, you’d think that would be one of the first things they’d copy.
Just saying, I would pay handsomely for a Danganronpa board game.
I feel the same way; especially if a good amount of the optional objectives are unfair or unfun or both. Hence why I will not 100% Yooka Laylee. I don’t care what the reward is; putting up with Rextro and Kartos’ minigames just isn’t worth it.
