These have lost a little bite since Billy openly admitted what we all already knew: he doesn’t actually watch the games

More in-depth soccer analysis in this post than anything Billy Haisley has ever written

    Dumb

Or...OR...going with four center halves isn’t a good strategy, so they had to make a change. But like, totally go with whatever narrative is cool with you. The point remains that Ciman was literally the actual level of talent that the Italian squad was up against.

I came here to write THIS EXACT COMMENT. Well put.

Aaaaaaaand Ciman started against Italy. So.

Just came all the way back here to point out that Ciman did, in fact, start.

It is the right word if you base it on preconceived notions and not on the actual quality of the league right now in 2016.

It’s actually pretty easy to tell how Giovinco’s skills would translate against Belgium because Belgium called up a Montreal Impact defender named Laurent Ciman (Google it Billy). Leaving Giovinco off the team is just plain stupid.

Noticed this too. Not cool. Also, shame on the refs for having no clue how to handle it...you can obviously still be sent off when the play was offside.

    Shuttlecock?

Do you have the full complaint?

Oh. Billy Haisley writes shitty articles about European soccer, too.
