i think there's a difference between, "here's some antibiotics for your cold, by the way a healthy diet and regular exercise is great for your immune system, so once you're feeling better we can talk about some lifestyle changes that will keep you healthy." and "obviously you got the flu because you're a fat fuck."

every time i read one of these articles i want to give my doctor a hug. i've been going to him nearly my entire life and he's never been anything but friendly and supportive. Even when i've asked him for advice on getting healthier he talked to me about a proper diet and what kind of exercise would be best for my body
