I’m curious about the current trend toward interest in Barista perspectives. Am I the only one noticing this? Why do people seem to care more about what a Barista thinks versus caring what anyone in a foodservice position thinks? (fry cook, bar tender, sous chef, waiter/waitress, etc.) Is this partly because so many

Welcome back, I missed the site while it was dormant.

You smell like beef and cheese.

I’m a sap, the John (Sandler) cooking for Flor (Paz) scene in Spanglish always gets me.

Thanks for the list. I didn’t realize how much I appreciated his work.

I missed that (American), oops.

I’m hoping the omission of the Nissan Juke from this list means people are finally warming to it’s looks. It wasn’t ugly, people just weren’t visually ready for it.

Am I the only one thinking this thing looks primed to be adopted into the donk or high-rider community???

To me this car says buy as first car for your teen daughter. And if we/she takes care of it, it will probably last her through college & into her first car purchase. But I think ALL teens should have MT as first car.

Am I looking at that last picture wrong? Doesn’t that rear break light “bar” span the complete mid-upper outline of the rear of the vehicle, including the roofline where typical 3rd break light would be placed.  Or are you saying another break light at top of rear door frame or on actual door?

1st time, 16-ish years old and driving + floating my father’s Honda CRX through an almost 2' deep puddle. It made it through, only a little water seeped in. This happened while working as a lot attendant at the only dealer licensed (at the time) to sell new Rolls Royce & Bentley automobiles in Wisconsin. I was a very

Love it, want it.

1963 VW Karmann Ghia convertible in red, because it looks like a ‘60 pin-up model in a bikini.

Thank you for this slideshow. Why, it encouraged me to rewatch Sinbad specials Brain Damaged, & Afros & Bell Bottoms. Can’t believe neither made your list, that’s an error. But your list does have some good choices. Thanks again.

I’m trying to think what would justify paying $12,500 for this wagon. Mileage would need to be 1,160 -11,600.

‘88, $13200, +103K mi, WTF no way. My initial reaction, how about $3200? But the condition looks very nice so double to $6400, & not a penny more. Cute factor doesn’t eliminate 25 yr old VW & unknown mileage > 103K.

Wishing her scene...

Mileage. Wife’s car is ‘12 Lexus SUV with 70K miles & she drives about 10K mi per year. I figure we’ll run it to minimum 200K mi. So in 10-13-ish years we’ll have to consider an EV as a replacement. Or we’ll look for a less old (used) ICE Lexus & delay the switch-over.

Unless I’m incorrect only one person responded “All of them.”, that is the correct and obvious answer. BTW, this is really a lazy effort on behalf Jalopnik. Using reader’s posts to fill-up the website and slide shows is getting old, tired, and boring. Please do better.
