This type of vigilante behavior is disturbing. I’m also bothered by the shoplifting.

How did Focus RS not make list!?!
Thanks for sharing this, thoroughly enjoying read.
The car color trend I miss the most is copper metallic. I first saw it on a Honda Fit & was instantly mesmerized, kinda like happening across a bright shiny new penny on the ground. I just couldn’t look away. Not even sure this qualifies as a trend, I think I’ve only seen one or two other models/manufacturers offer…
Fast food isn’t healthy & the Double Down leans into that. Even though I enjoyed it before I doubt I’ll visit a KFC to enjoy it again. The city I live in lost our only KFC about 7 years ago, their service was poor & quite often they were missing key menu items. (chicken) Checking the KFC website, the nearest…
Sorry I missed this opportunity. Funny just realized both mine include Honda hatchbacks, a CRX & a Civic. CRX = driving (floating) the length of about 15' thru 3' deep water. Got a running start (heading down a short decline), hit the water, car kept slowly moving forward & I swear I felt it float slightly upwards, fr…
“But hopefully, this auction serves as a swift kick in the dick for any flippers looking to make a quick buck on cars that are already heavily marked up.”
My least memorable car was a new Nissan Altima SE, I think ‘97 or ‘98. Only certain aspects of the experience were memorable, but none of those relate to driving it. Driving... nothing. Buying it was memorable because I wanted a manual transmission with a “factory” sunroof, one couple dealer balked at this, another…
If you’ve seen the film, then you know how heartbreaking and perfect Rihanna’s “Life Me Up” is when it starts playing.
81 stars (and increasing) for at best a “Dad-joke”!?!
Well guess I missed my opportunity to shine on Jalopnik. I turned 50 this year & to celebrate I went to Vegas with 2 friends from high school. In Vegas we visited Exotics Racing & I drove one of their 2017 Nissan GTRs. Fast. Grippy. Fling-able. While their track seemed a little small & short for my driving abilities…
Great read, sounds like fun trip.
Thanks as always for article, links, coverage.
Glad he’s still here.
Sorry to hear. Ours wasn’t a pinnacle of reliability either, when we sold it most of the electronic convenience features hadn’t worked in years. (auto-open side/rear doors, windows up/down, etc.) But damned if those rear seats into the floor wasn’t one of the best & most useful feature I’ve ever had in car.
Biggest car we had for awhile was a Chrysler Town & Country minivan. With the rear seats folded into the floor it was cavernous. Boy that feature was useful at times. (hauling furniture, appliances, flooring, lumber, etc.) We could live with that size again. Side note: it was one of the most comfortable rides I’ve…
Pre-marriage the Honda CRX was my perfect size. Married + 2 teenage kids, the Fiat 500 Abarth is about the right size.
Here for the car-talk. The future isn’t V8s or ICEs. So the future isn’t going to be loud & rumble. I enjoy the past and I’m a bit weary about the future. Shit, I’m a manual transmission guy, 3 on the tree, 4 on the floor, whatever as long as it’s stick. Future isn’t manual transmissions. But the future is coming…
I’m curious if these will be considered felonies. I hope so.
