I have never owned a truly beautiful car. The closest I have gotten is my father handed-down a red Nissan Pulsar with t-tops & flip-up headlights. 16 yr old me thought it was rather cool looking.

Before I bought my ‘15 Focus ST, I test drove a ‘15 Fiesta ST. If that Fiesta didn’t have the Recaro seats (OMG uncomfortable) & if the seat reclining tab hadn’t broken off in my hand, I might have bought it.

I’m always one to state the obvious. From reading your supplied info it sounds like the main motivator for replacing the current BMW is front seat comfort. Have you researched smaller infant car seats, they make smaller ones for smaller cars. (check the Chicco KeyFit 30)
