Nothing more dangerous than a bored cop, except maybe several bored cops.

When my wife was a teenager (before she was my wife, obviously), she was pulled over on her Moped. The department sent FIVE patrol cars to assist in the stop and ticket writing.

There’s just something about this interior, while minimalist, that’s just comforting to me. Modern minimalist interiors just don’t replicate this feeling to me.

The car has other issues, namely size. Tesla back seats “only have room for one prisoner,” Crook said, limiting an officer’s ability to sequester suspects. With an all-Tesla police force, Crook believes incidents involving more than one party will require more officers to respond with more cars, putting strain on

Yeah, it’s laughable that they chose to buy a Model 3 and then complained that it was too small. As if there weren’t any other EV options available to them.

Crook remembered a case where his detectives drove 630 miles to Mexico to transport a potentially dangerous subject in their vehicle.

Most of this sounds more like “sports car as a cruiser” problems than “EV as a cruiser” problems.

A cop named Crook. I love it.

I’m mostly pleased it’s not a MAGA sign at this point.

I’ve never exactly been into motorcycles, but as I get older, the more I want one. Anyways enjoy the photo dump of Cars n Copters yesterday:

How to equate being waited on hand and foot to a reasonable expectation of not getting infested with bed bugs?

You clearly don’t understand the menace that is bed bugs and how hard it can be to get rid of them. Often times the best way to be sure is to just throw out and replace any soft materials and fabrics they may have gotten into. I worked for a hotel chain and if any were found in a room, the room was shut down and all

I mean, if you’ve ever dealt with bed bugs, it’s a little different than bees. A few bed bugs can quickly cause an infestation that is very difficult to get rid of. Not saying a passenger couldn’t have brought it on board, but it’s definitely something an airline should want to clamp down on quick and isn’t “just some

Registration fees, at least in my state, also fund about half of the road maintenance budget. I guess if you just want to commute across rubble and wagon trails then yeah, abolish the heathen road tax.

I remember when the G35s were a fresh alternative to BMWs and then the G37 came out and how gorgeous it was alongside the 350z, four to-five years of depreciation went by and it all went to shit.

The first video where he uses yet another fake encounter with a person to pat himself hard on the back is just laughable! He really thinks nobody has ever thought of possibly making auto loan interest tax-deductible?? Of course it has been thought of many, many times. Especially by the auto industry who looks at the

Probably about as much as he knows about political asylum, which in his deranged and withered mind gets twisted into “insane asylum” and leads to him making WTF references to Hannibal Lecter that nobody understands when he goes on a tear about immigration. Also kind of like how saw part of a slide deck about ways to

Frankly, why a “cab” would look like anything other than a London cab, or one of those NV things is beyond me.  This vehicle should be 100% focused on cabin space, comfort, cargo, etc.  Not vanity.  But Elon doesn’t get that.

I’m still trying to work out how 20 people fit in this thing. Looking at the picture of the interior and assuming there are two more seats in the foreground you can’t see, that would be 8 people in the middle two rows. Assuming there is barely enough room for a person to walk between the middle rows, that means

I’d probably use many of the same reasons you did…except for the environmental friendliness comment. An EV is so wildly more efficient at converting stored energy to motion that it easily offsets any challenges in production. At this point, you have to be willingly holding onto misinformation to believe otherwise.
