How hard is it to look at the title of a post and determine that something political is being discussed, and to skip over that post if you don’t want to be presented with a political opinion or statement on an automotive blog?
Congresswoman Boobert should have taken her case to Judge Cannon’s court. Cannon would have ruled the ticket was unconstitutional on account of Boobert being a Republican and, thus, above the law.
Trump is a fascist. Musk is a fascist. If you buy a Tesla, that makes you a fascist.
Same reason they say that voter fraud is rampant and then every time someone commits voter fraud, they’re found to be a Republican.
They are, though... that’s why it’s even sadder.
The GOP has been telling us for years that politicians are criminals, and now they’re proving it.
They both share the same goal: Turning America into a white ethnostate. That really is the whole thing right there.
It’s notable that during the primary for her new district, it was pointed out that the majority of Republican candidates (including her) had been arrested for various crimes, and her response was to smile and high-five one of the other criminal candidates.
And asked to see her green card
Is it hypocrisy though? We -expect- Republicans to be the bad guy. We -expect- the Democrats to be the party of law and order (they even say so themselves!)
They’ll probably claim Olivia Flores was resisting arrest by dying.
Seriously the whole department should be held liable for him proving multiple times he is unfit to be behind the wheel of a patrol car and clearly unwilling to try to change and abide by policy.
Imposter syndrome is where you feel like you’re underqualified in a situation where you’re actually perfectly competent. This is more like the Dunning Kruger effect. You’re not competent enough to understand that you’re underqualified.
ACAB. Everyone in the chain that kept him employed and on the road. It’s the entire rotten system.
why it took a tragic death to get this officer off the road
“Sprinkle some crack on him, let’s get outta here”
Holy hell! He crashed 3 patrol cars, probably costing some $50k + each at least and probably a lot more in taxpayer money while breaking policy each time, and only got 1 day suspensions?
I’m gonna take a wild guess that he immediately jumped out of his car, drew his gun, and cuffed the kid’s lifeless body. And then maybe even asked “do you know why I pulled you over today?”
