Haven’t watched the season final yet but just in reading your first paragraph, yes. I enjoyed S1 but S2 has dragged, lingered on specific things for too long, and generally seen worse acting from the trio that nailed it in S1. And yet S2 kept getting rave reviews.

JJ should just do all of them for eternity. Freeze him in carbonite every couple years then bring him out to do another movie.

He’s not totally wrong. A VSC would have been adequate, probably, and would have kept the finish from feeling like manufactured drama.

It was basically a 24-hour turnaround from Gendry leaving the group to Dany arriving. At the time I even thought about how absolutely stunning that was.

There are so many options now. One doesn’t have to eat/drink garbage because #tradition. Though I constantly wish for more bars off-Northgate.

That’s the way I always understood it. But when you can get Antonio’s, Chuy’s, Freebirds, Cane’s (a short drive away), or more recently Fuego... why go to either of those dusty joints?
