They added a small lip at the front to keep air from going under the car, added a full surround for the “gills” on both sides of the lower grill, and added a smoother grill (no vertical strakes). Lowering it was likely the biggest gain though.

They have entire seasons of track racing as well. There are a handful of versions of the Street Outlaws “universe” at this point (no-prep track racing, street racing on a closed road, racing their daily driver vehicles, etc. The “edgy” part that brings in viewers isn’t necessarily the street portion, it’s the

It’s wheat harvest time. Odds are the dump truck was being used for harvest. Harvest dump trucks are often very old and only used a few times a year. These are often driven by teens on country roads from the field to the grain elevators. Not saying they didn’t make some poor choices with deadly consequences, just

Good luck to those customers. I can’t imagine the process of getting parts or service for these trucks in the future after Nikola burns through all of their cash and goes belly up.

The fact that this is just an electrified Iveco lessens this issue some (at least a portion of the parts are available from Iveco) but the

Manual trans vehicles won’t start without pressing the clutch. Been this way for at least 30 years, probably more.

This was the first dealer I called when I was searching for a good deal on a Kia Stinger GT. They had the lowest advertised prices. After they reluctantly sent a breaking of the “out the door” cost, I caught them doing this exact thing and called them out on it. They claimed they were “normal” fees and couldn’t be

Doesn’t mean you can’t continue to watch his videos. It’s not like he’s a rapist or something. He actually didn’t hurt anybody, he was helping them (in a not-so-legal way) while hurting AAA slightly. While not great, on the scale of bad things a person can do, this is way down near the bottom.

Valve covers are too narrow for a Hemi or Ford Modular DOHC (4.6, 5.0). Missing two cylinders relative to the Tritan V10. Wrong valve cover pattern for the LS stuff. Valve cover width indicates SOHC or cam in block. Engine height and width makes me thinks it’s SOHC. Doesn’t look like the Ford 6.2 or 7.3 either.

I never said I wasn’t an EV fan (I actually said the opposite). I understand the positives and as a Mechanical Engineer, I understand why they are theoretically more reliable (and what it takes to swap out an engine as I’ve done it at least half a dozen times).

At no point did I say they aren’t a good option for a daily commute so I’m not sure where that came from. As I said before, I’m an EV fan and would get one if it didn’t require me to rent some other vehicle any time I travel, or have a second vehicle that’s fuel efficient to take on long trips (so it can’t really be

once we get more economies of scale on battery tech and EVs become more affordable, it’ll be a viable solution for a huge subset of people”

That’s my point. We aren’t there yet. For some it works, for a lot it doesn’t (yet). We also need to add way more fast charging stations across the US and need a charging standard

That’s great if you live in an area where fast charging stations are plentiful for the entire trip. If you have to use a low voltage/slow charger, might as well plan on having to spend the night (and these areas do not typically coincide with places people want to be stuck at for 10-12 hours without a vehicle).
I

If we’re talking basic economics, the higher upfront cost has to be included. Lasting longer is debatable so far. Those degrading batteries make the range/charging issue worse over time and replacing the battery is at least as expensive (if not way more) as replacing the engine in an internal combustion vehicle. Less

If people want to spend thousands a year on rentals, leave their EV on a shady rental lot for their weekend getaways or week-long vacations, and transfer their kid’s seats back and forth between their EV and Rental 5x a year then that’s great, power to them. I’d love to have an EV (I love acceleration and they are the

You’re not getting a full charge in 30 minutes though, you’re getting a partial charge. I’d love to have an EV but until the charging speed gets better, it won’t work for me (if it works for others, that’s great).

Nobody ever drives over 250 miles per day, haven’t you heard?

This has been true for decades. I’ve got an Explorer gauge cluster in my 97 Ranger (main reason was to have a tach), I put a Stinger GT2 cluster in my Stinger GT (larger and more advanced center screen), and I put a Mustang GT premium cluster in my “base” 2005 Mustang GT (gained more gauges and the ability to change

You’re saying the Raptor pickup doesn’t use different fenders than a normal F150? You may want to take a closer look at that. Every generation of Raptor has used significantly different fenders, evident by the large bulges over the wheels and the large flat area near the headlights where the extra width is tucked in

Except, if you actually look at the fenders (not the flares) of this version and the normal Bronco, you’ll see the fenders and quarters are significantly wider and have the signature “Raptor” cut lines that go over the wheel area and drop down at a 45 degree angle near the doors. There are also vents in the fenders
