My parents live in Marysville, OH, and I was dreading that this was about that city. You could imagine my reliefe when I didn’t have to hear about how great the mayor was for saying this from my Trump-supporting step-dad.

As Scalia once said, it is not a defense under the constitution that a person be actually innocent for a sentence to be carried out. All that is required is a jury convict them of the crime.

All this does is remind me that the league is trying their damnedest to make sure their large markets have good teams.

You figure they’d put the teams in underserved markets, but all of those teams have an NFL team except St. Louis.  You figure they’d go to Sacramento or Salt Lake City or Portland.

I haven’t been a real Browns fan for that long (2016ish when I gave up on the 49ers after they fired Harbaugh), but I grew up in the area. I have siblings in their mid-20s who only know the Browns as a perpetual 7-9 or worse team. Hell, I’m 35 and I can barely remember the Belichick years.

Yeah but people buy guns and ammo like crazy when a Democrat is President.  Given they need the money it’s unlikely, but not impossible, that they tank this election.
