The SVX needs a modern glow-up. Even if it has an FA24 turbo in it. Even if it’s a limited run.

The stupid auto lugged the engine. The EG was an +1 cylinder bank of the best version of the EJ that Subaru made, the EJ22. It’s a shame that this engine didn’t make it in to the later 2001+ Outbacks because those things would have KICKED ASS with the EG33. Even the SportShift 5AT is a better option than the OG…

This might be the most underrated car of all time.
Handles like a weapon. Moves pretty well. It has an inline 6 in some trims (I swear, I could be wrong). It’s a shame that people didn’t just FLOCK to these things. They’re amazing.

Only the chassis is the same (which was outstanding to begin with). Where else can you get a RWD Sports Coupe with 400hp for less than 40k that isn’t a fat pig? (Looking at you, Camaro and Mustang)
